To save Creative Europe, write to your finance minister!
In just a few days, the European Commission will unveil its first proposal for the next EU budget, the MFF. A leaked note shows that merging Creative Europe with other programmes is still on the table.
If this happens, Europe’s only dedicated funding for culture could lose its visibility, focus, and impact. Culture Action Europe has already called on the Commission to keep Creative Europe standalone and to better fund it.
Over 1500 organisations and individuals have endorsed Culture Action Europe’s Ask, Pay, Trust campaign. To make our voice even louder, we are aiming for 2000 endorsements before 16 July.
