This is the final of three online meetings of the Action group on Working Conditions to consult members, share views and expertise, and co-create a position paper to feed into the upcoming EU Artists’ Charter, including on its principles, governance and implementability.

The BEYOND Satellite in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, Spain, will explore how cultural practice, policy and civic engagement intersect in moments of social, territorial and democratic transformation, with a strong emphasis on listening, care and situated knowledge. Special attention will be given to peripheral contexts and territories, both geographically and structurally.

The BEYOND satellite in Riga, Latvia, will explore sustainability in its broadest sense, including the working conditions and wellbeing of cultural workers, while also addressing cultural identity across the Nordic region, the Baltic region, UK and Europe.

The Digital and AI action group will reconvene to review our initial draft recommendations for the upcoming AI Strategy for the CCS to refine its content and ensure no critical perspectives are missing before submission. The strategy is in the initial drafting stages, and the European Commission is seeking civil society input. If you are a CAE or MCA member, join to share your views!

The Drama Artists’ Association of Serbia will present and explore the specific situation of the Serbian cultural scene in this Lunchtime Session, focusing on the importance of Serbian theatre for freedom of expression, democracy and solidarity.
