BE UNIT, an Erasmus+ funded project focused on improving the employability and active citizenship of young adults in the audiovisual sector, have released an advocacy paper including a series of recommendations calling for the reduction of barriers to cultural participation.
The BEYOND Satellite in Amsterdam, the Netherlands, will explore what fairness in labour relations means in today’s European context, combining talks, panel discussions, workshops, networking moments and peer-to-peer exchanges, as well as a Fair Practice Lab for creators, collectives and organisations to co-create action plans around fairness.
The BEYOND satellite in Riga, Latvia, will explore sustainability in its broadest sense, including the working conditions and wellbeing of cultural workers, while also addressing cultural identity across the Nordic region, the Baltic region, UK and Europe.
