Culture Action Europe at ArtLab in Mantova

August 26, 2016, 1:03 pm

This year Artlab (29 September – 1 October, Mantova) focuses on the role of culture in urban regeneration. Culture Action Europe will participate in two different sessions during this event. Robert Manchin of CAE will speak on the importance of cultural networks in Europe and will present  the preliminary results of the “Study on audience development – How to place audiences at the centre of cultural organisations”. Detailed programme (in Italian) is available here.

ArtLab was set up in 2006 by Fondazione Fitzcarraldo as a conference on cultural management. Over the years it has grown into one of the most inspiring, cross-sectorial, independent platforms in Italy dedicated to innovating practices and policies in arts and culture.

Artlab creates a space for a structured dialogue among stakeholders of the cultural and creative sectors. It is a learning environment where cultural professionals both from public and private sectors, civil society and policy makers share experiences and knowledge on how art and culture contribute to the wellbeing on one hand and to the economic and social growth on the other. Artlab provides a unique opportunity for networking, sharing, searching for partners, nurturing ideas and transforming them into programmes and projects .
