Beyond adopter and supplier: putting cultural heritage at the heart of Europe’s Public AI ecosystem

The EU-funded European Heritage Hub has published its policy paper “Beyond adopter and supplier: putting cultural heritage at the heart of Europe’s Public AI ecosystem”, released on 29 September on the occasion of the Hub’s Policy Talk  “INNOVATE. PROTECT. EMPOWER: How cultural heritage can make Public AI a reality” and is launching its dedicated advocacy campaign. Developed with the Europeana Foundation and with input from Hub partners across Europe, the paper highlights the role of the cultural heritage sector in the European Commission’s forthcoming AI strategy for the Cultural and Creative Sectors, expected in 2027. The campaign turns its key messages into a call for action: organisations and networks across Europe are invited to endorse it.
