Creative Europe: Stories of 50 European Cooperation Projects
At the beginning of June, the European Education, and Culture Executive Agency (EACEA) released a publication providing an overview of 50 projects funded by Creative Europe European Cooperation project calls between 2021-2024.
It draws together the stories behind these projects to show how cultural cooperation across Europe translates into concrete impact for artists, cultural professionals, and society more broadly. Across the fifty selected projects, five thematic ‘constellations’ are identified to illustrate how organisations across Europe have worked together in Cooperation projects across a broad array of projects to support the objectives of Creative Europe. The five themes are:
- European values and Democracy
- New practices and models
- Digital transformation
- Green transition and sustainability
- Youth
The publication coincides with the 35th anniversary of the Creative Europe MEDIA programme, and is worth a read to gain insight into the impact, value and diversity of European Cooperation projects in the last few years.
