Learning Journey: Opening Access to Deaf and Disabled Artists and Audiences
Europe Beyond Access has launched a comprehensive Learning Journey designed for producers, promoters, and programmers in the performing arts who want to make their work more accessible to Deaf and disabled artists and audiences.
Drawing on sector research and real-world experience, the resource offers guidance on practical logistics, institutional change, audience development, and inclusive artistic practices. It also highlights inspiring examples from venues, festivals, and companies working to become more accessible.
The toolkit includes both original content and curated resources from leading accessibility experts—aimed at helping cultural professionals take concrete steps toward more inclusive programming.
