The report brings together the main learning points we have drawn from the Perform Europe process, since its start in December 2020. The Perform Europe process so far highlights the urgency to rethink the current system of touring and distribution support in Europe, in order to make it more balanced, sustainable and inclusive.
The 4thUnited Cities and Local Government (UCLG) Culture Summit took place on 9-11 of September 2021 in Izmir, Turkey. From 17 to 19 September, the first of the Citizens’ Panels for the Conference on the Future of Europe (CoFoE) took place in Strasbourg. A key feature of the CoFoE, these panels convene 800 randomly chosen European citizens to jointly think about the future they want for the European Union.
