From Arci Kids to the Bjcem: Dialogue and creativity for the future of the Mediterranean
Rome, Italy
June 12-13, 2015

The Biennale of Young Artists from Europe and the Mediterranean (BJCEM) was created by another of CAE’s Member, ARCI, until 2001 when it became a independant association. One of the core activities of ARCI and the Biennale is the promotion of young artists and their organisations and  spaces  as well as making them  be cultural mediators,  actors of dialogue and exchange in the Euro-Mediterranean context.

The conference will be the occasion to celebrate the Biennale 30th birthday through debates and presentations, to update the relationship between art, young creativity and dialogue between cultures, in the light of the social and cultural dynamics which are developing in the countries of the Mediterranean basin.

This event is organisation in collaboration with Culture Action Europe and Luca Bergamo, CAE’s Secretary General, will be one of the conference’s speakers.
