Final campaign evaluation now online

2013 was the last year of the campaign ‘we are more – act for culture in Europe’, launched in strategic partnership with the European Cultural Foundation in 2010 with the aim of influencing the EU budget, policies and programmes for the years 2014-2020. In comparison with the campaign’s initial demands, the results of the EU negotiations are globally positive. In the framework of the campaign, CAE mobilised more than 26.000 supporters who signed the campaign manifesto, translated material and organized campaign activities across Europe. With the adoption of the global EU budget on 19 November 2013 and the following adoption of EU programmes including the Creative Europe programme and the next Cohesion Policy, CAE has assessed the campaign objectives, its communication and outreach, and lessons learned for the future.
