The EU Backoffice podcast: how the EU cultural policy process really works
The EU Backoffice is a new podcast series from Reset! Network in cooperation with the European Network of Cultural Centres that explores how the EU cultural policy process really works, going beyond the headlines and shining a light on where and how decisions are taken. The series consists of interviews and debates with insiders, artists, and activists on diverse topics to paint an in-depth picture of how EU cultural policy-making works.
The first episode, ‘Decrypting the EU’s Cultural and Media Policy: Touching Base‘ is hosted by host Matéo Vigné who is joined by Benjamin Feyen (EU Policy Expert), Georg Haeusler (European Commission), and Olga Perez (European Parliament) to explore how responsibilities are divided, how decisions are shaped and negotiated, and how different bodies interact within the broader EU framework for cultural policy.
