Sustainability, Value and Advocacy for the Grassroots Cultural Sector
This publication of Trans Europe Halles (TEH), likes to tell the story of the experience of grassroots cultural centres in Europe during the Covid-19 pandemic.
At the very start of the pandemic, TEH Coordination Office launched ‘Mission Impossible’ – a so it seemed at the time – to support their members throughout this crisis and come out stronger, more resilient and prepared! They decided the best way to go was to get to know our members better so TEH launched a survey and get on the phone to talk to as many of them as possible.
This publication is the result of this exchange, that brought priceless data and insights into the situation of the independent cultural centres during the pandemic, their thoughts on current cultural policies and sector’s sustainability and impact. Not to be missed!!!!
