Growing a Viable Entrepreneurial Model at the Intersection of the Arts and Wellbeing

As part of the project AWAKE: Arts & Wellbeing as a Creative Business and Future Livelihood, a new publication has been released:

Growing a Viable Entrepreneurial Model at the Intersection of the Arts and Wellbeing: Insights from Five Cases.

This casebook highlights five entrepreneurial initiatives led by professional artists who work with a range of communities—including infants, older adults, and individuals living with chronic illnesses. Each case illustrates a unique artistic approach and explores how these ventures were conceived, how they continue to evolve, and the impact they generate. Through these stories, the publication offers valuable insights into building sustainable, purpose-driven careers at the intersection of creativity and care.

The casebook is authored by Annabelle Türkis and Ariane Vitou. It is published as part of the AWAKE project, co-funded by the European Union’s Creative Europe programme and implemented by the Northern Dimension Partnership on Culture (NDPC), Lapinlahden Lähde (Centre for Culture, Arts and Mental Well-being), Centrul Cultural Clujean (Cluj Cultural Centre), and Pôle Culture & Santé en Nouvelle-Aquitaine (Culture & Health Center).
