Raising Citizens’ Awareness on the importance of Culture in Europe
We believe that Culture should get higher on the European agenda. We believe that Culture should be horizontally mainstreamed into all European policies.
Why Culture? Because Culture benefits our mental health, health and overall well-being and it is linked with our democracy, economy, politics, digital shift, sustainable development, education, society, and identity. Culture is what makes us unique by keeping us together. Culture is what makes Europe united in diversity.
Culture Action Europe will be present at this important event in the European Parliament on 8 December 2022, organised by the Left group. Our president Inês Câmara will contribute to the discussion on cultural rights and cultural democracy, while our colleague Kornelia Kiss will present the CultureForHealth project and the research.
