On June 24 and 25 2013, Culture Action Europe, as one of the eight members of the Civil Society Contact Group (CSCG), a cross-sectorial coalition of NGO actors, is partnering in the first ever European Citizens’ Summit in Brussels, organised as a counterweight to the European Summit later on that week.
During the Summit, discussions among national and local members of the CSCG network and beyond will aim at developing an integrated approach of a citizens’ vision for European development. The BOZAR venue will be used imaginatively by the participants based on an ‘Open Café’ methodology in order to encourage dialogue and a lively, healthy debate.
