ArtLab Bari 2020

Artlab continues, this time with an online meeting animated from Bari. Culture Action Europe’s Vice President Cristina da Milano will moderate a session on the place of Culture in the National Recovery and Resilience Plan of Italy. The panelists will include:

Massimo Bray, Regional Councillor for Culture, Development of the CCIs, Tourism, Touristic Development @ Puglia Region [btw, very good ally for culture, was Minister in 2013-14)
Matteo Lepore, Municipal Councillor for Culture, City Promotion and Sport @ Municipality of Bologna
Francesco Monaco, national coordinator of SNAI (tbc)
Anna Laura Orrico, Secretary of State for Culture @ Italian Ministry for Culture, Cultural Heritage and Tourism
Maria Piccarreta, Superintendent for Cultural Heritage for Brindisi and Lecce (interim for Bari, Andria, Barletta, Trani and Foggia).

The European Cultural ecosystem has been vocal in demanding National Governments to earmark at least 2% of Recovery and Resilience Funds to culture and creative sectors. You can find the plea coming from the sector here.
