Digital and AI Action Group: AI Strategy for the CCS Recommendations (Call for Evidence)
How should the European Union approach artificial intelligence in the cultural and creative sectors?
This Digital and AI Action Group meeting is taking place within the context of the ongoing call for evidence to inform the upcoming AI Strategy for the Cultural and Creative Sectors – a flagship action in the Culture Compass for Europe expected in early 2027 – exploring this very question.
The Digital and AI action group, which is jointly led by Culture Action Europe and Michael Culture Association, is reconvening to:
- reflect on the priorities and approaches identified in the call for evidence for the AI Strategy
- identify key priorities, including from the group’s Recommendations, to submit to the call
- provide a space for discussion and peer-to-peer learning and experience-sharing
Make sure to join the session if you intend to submit evidence to the AI Strategy for the cultural and creative sectors by the deadline of 11 September 2026.
The Digital and AI Action Group is open only to MCA and CAE members. For any questions or requests for participation, please contact the group’s facilitators: Marco Fiore (marco.fiore[at]michael-culture.eu) and Rhys Nugent (rhys@cultureactioneurope.org).
