Amateur music is lived culture: it creates connections, fosters participation, and strengthens democracy. Yet, on the European level, the voice of amateur musicians is still too quiet – while the need and potential are great.
In this discussion, european voices from CAE members Bundesmusikverband will explore:
  • the contribution of amateur music to Europe’s cultural and democratic life,
  • the social and participatory dimensions highlighted by amateur networks
  • and why Europe needs a stronger common voice for amateur music.
👉 Join us as we ask the big question: Why is amateur music essential for Europe’s democracy?
