Our recent webinar spotlighted the vital role of amateur arts across Europe — from theatre and music to dance, visual arts, and creative writing. Despite their massive impact, amateur arts are often overlooked by policymakers and funders.
During the session, we explored a powerful new advocacy document, developed at the 2024 (HE)ARTSBEAT Conference in Prague, with support from Culture Moves Europe and the Goethe-Institut. This collective effort brings together key arguments to support amateur arts at local, national, and EU levels.
