La Ligue de l’Enseignement seeks partners for Youth literature project

La Ligue de l’Enseignement, Fédération d’Indre-et-Loire is seeking partners to join the project Youth Literature (working title) and its application to the October 2015 deadline of Creative Europe – European Cooperation Projects.

Based in Tours, France, La Ligue de l’Enseignement, Fédération d’Indre-et-Loire brings together tens of thousands of women and men responsible and committed to the development of educational, social, sports, civic, cultural and leisure activities within a network local associations, located in all territories.

Since 1971, La ligue de l’enseignement of Indre-et-Loire organises Quinzaine du Livre Jeunesse (Youth Literature Fortnight), in which it distributes a selection recently published youth-books to participating organisations, such as libraries, schools and social centres. The project also fosters meeting between pupils, illustrators, writers and storytellers.

La ligue de l’enseignement of Indre-et-Loire seeks partners to promote meetings of youth authors in different countries, and to organise events around youth literature in each participants’ countries. Interest partners should be from countries eligible for Creative Europe programme and should be experienced on youth literature.
