Creative Europe now approved by the Council

December 5, 2013

Today (5 December) the Council of the EU formally approved the Creative Europe programme, following the vote in EP plenary on 19 December.

The negotiations on the future programme supporting the cultural and media sectors will officially end up next week (11 December) when the two Institutions will sign the final agreement.

The programme will enter into force in January 2014. More info about the publication of the programme guide and the first calls of proposal should be soon available.
