Strengthening Capacities in the Live Performance Sector
The Strengthening Capacities in the Live Performance Sector report provides an overview of three key topics shaping the future of the live performance sector. Building off of consultations, conversations and capacity-building activities carried out by Pearle*, the Media, Entertainment & Arts Sector of UNI Europa (EURO-MEI), the International Federation of Actors (FIA), and the International Federation of Musicians (FIM), the eponymous EU-funded project explored:
- Artificial Intelligence and its impact on the live performance sector
- Health and safety (with a specific focus on mental health), and
- Climate-change related challenges.
In each case, the findings of their research and presented, an analysis is provided to deepen our understanding of the topic and its implications for the future of live performance, and key recommendations are outlined taking into account the sector’s evolving landscape.
