CultureAndHealth Artists’ Roundtables: Arts and Culture in Community Based Settings

Where: Online
When: 11 February 2026 14:00 - 15:30

Take part in the ninth of our online Artists’ Roundtables, which provide an opportunity for peer-to-peer exchange between artists working in the intersection of culture, health, care, education and social sectors.

How can arts and culture strengthen health, care, and belonging in community-based settings?

In our next Artists’ Roundtable, we bring together practitioners working at the intersection of culture, health, and social justice to share lived experience, practice-based evidence, and tools for change. This session features Samra Said, Co-Director of Arts & Homelessness International, whose work centres ethical, trauma-conscious and co-creative practice with people who have experienced homelessness, and Sonja van Dolron, a Rotterdam-based artist bringing art directly into neighbourhoods through her mobile Atelier on Wheels, transforming public space into a site for connection, creativity, and care.

These Artists’ Roundtables are open to everyone and free of charge. This roundtable will be about Arts and Culture in Community Based Settings and invites two artists to present their work and share their experiences.

Afterwards, we provide break-out rooms with each artist for a mutual exchange and also to share your experiences.

The Arts and Culture in Community Based Settings roundtable will take place on 11 February 2026, from 14:00 to 15:30 CET.
