In this Lunchtime Session, visual artist and researcher Mika Heikkilä, aka Mika Oulu (ArtMingle), shares fresh insights from the InnoCulture Conference 2025 in Tallinn and from the first episodes of ArtMingle, a new interview series on culture, economics and community impact.
Drawing on cases such as the Serlachius Museums’ long-term sustainability transition and the John Nurminen Foundation’s approach to ecological recovery and cultural behaviour change, the session explores how cultural institutions turn research into systems, reshape identity, and build credibility through action.
