Campaign Meeting: Where is the Culture Compass leading us?
Next week, the European Commission will publish the Culture Compass for Europe, a strategic framework for the EU’s approach to culture.
The publication of the Culture Compass marks a key milestone in our collective advocacy work and a critical moment to evaluate how our voices have been reflected into the process. In September we published, “Towards the Culture Compass: A Sector Blueprint“, a discussion paper co-written by over 30 cross-border European cultural networks, members of Culture Action Europe, which proposes a direction for European cultural policies, co-created by and for the sector, represented in its diversity.
To build critical, thoughtful and actionable engagement with the network around the Culture Compass, we will hold a public, online campaign to receive a presentation of the Culture Compass from cultural policy unit of the Commission, outline our analysis and receive feedback from the network.
