Rhys Nugent

With a background in EU public policy and languages, Rhys Nugent is passionate about intercultural exchange and civic engagement. His expertise lies in EU culture, digital, and youth policy, having previously worked at the European Commission, the Council of Europe, and diverse schools around Europe.

Rhys is CAE’s Advocacy Officer. He focuses on supporting the network’s advocacy and communication strategies, with current priorities including CAE’s ongoing campaigns and advocating for a stronger presence for culture in the EU’s next long-term budget.
