UK-EU Cultural Cooperation Reset

On behalf of the UK hub of Culture Action Europe, its members and the UK members of its networks, we invite you to join us on 7 April at 15.00 CET for an online meeting to scope a reset of UK-EU cultural cooperation.
If you are working in the cultural and creative sectors, are resetting cultural relations between the UK and the EU, we encourage you to join this meeting.
Aims of the meeting:
- Exploring pathways towards UK and EU cultural collaboration
- Sharing examples of strong and viable sector-to-sector connections
- Sharing narratives on the value of culture
- Providing insight on European Cultural networks
- Consolidating collaboration between UK and EU cultural bodies, organisations and individuals
Agenda:
- Welcome (Clymene Christoforou, Director, D6: Culture in Transit and D6:EU and Lars Ebert, Secretary General, Culture Action Europe (CAE)
- Why is this the right time to be talking about this? (Eluned Haf, Wales Arts International, Lars Ebert, CAE)
- How would we in the arts envisage the new relationship? Facilitated by Christoph Jankowski with contributions from the floor
- Cultural collaboration – what does this currently look like for the 27 Member States of the EU? Lars Ebert, CAE
- How is the UK currently accessing EU programmes? Facilitated by Clymene Christoforou, with UK organisations that have set up EU sisters and accessing Creative Europe: D6 (UK/CY), PRS Foundation (UK/BE), Curated Place, (UK/IE) Literature Across Frontiers, (UK/CZ), Mighty Creatives, (UK/DE), and organisations engaging in EuropeanCapitals of Culture (Walk the Plank, D6).
