NEB Pop-Up Working Group
On 7 October from 09:30-10:30 CEST Culture Action Europe will organise pop-up working group for its members to discuss about the place for culture within the New European Bauhaus. The outcome of the pop-up working group will be a position paper in reaction to the Commission’s Communication.
Would you like to have a say and help shape CAE’s position on the future of the New European Bauhaus (NEB)?
NEB is the flagship initiative of the European Commission to “give a soul to the Green Deal”, as recalled by President Ursula von der Leyen during her State of the Union address. After the co-design phase which ended in June, the NEB is now in full swing and entering its implementation phase. Main features of this phase are contained in the Commission’s Communication on the New European Bauhaus that was unveiled in September.
We would like to know your thoughts about the place for culture within the NEB and as a powerful tool to trigger participatory processes, its role in fostering the objectives of the green transition, the narrative behind it, and how to make sure that the funding and the various sub-initiatives in the NEB framework valorise the cultural dimension.
The outcome of the pop-up working group will be Culture Action Europe’s joint position paper in reaction to the Commission’s Communication.
