Joint Webinar on AgoraEU for National Organisations
A webinar on the AgoraEU programme is taking place the afternoon of Monday 29 June 2026 between 14:00 – 16:00 (CEST) to create a dedicated space for national organisations working at Member State level to understand the important new programme under the next long-term EU budget and to provide a space for coordinating national advocacy. The webinar represents a valuable capacity building opportunity to understand what are the main changes of the programme relevant for national organisations working at Member State level.
The event has been facilitated by Civil Society Europe and is co-organised by members of the Future of Europe coalition, including Culture Action Europe, Civil Society Europe, the European Civic Forum, the European Federation of Journalists, the Centre for Sustainable Media, the Irish Council for Civil Liberties and the Center for Democracy and Technology.
The event is split into two parts, with the first providing a general overview of the programme and the structure(s) proposed by the diverse EU institutions, before the second part provides a space for dedicated breakout sessions per strand (45 minutes). The goal of these breakout sessions is for participants to have a space to discuss the specificities of each strand, to share any information they might have about their government’s position, and to raise any questions they may have following the first part of the webinar. Culture Action Europe will lead the breakout session on the Creative Europe – Culture strand.
