Culture Action Europe members are invited to join a lunchtime presentation of “inDICEs: measuring the impact of digital culture” on Thursday, 21 April 2022, 1-2 pm (CET).

In a more and more digitised world, researchers and policy-makers are struggling to fully understand the crucial role that the Cultural Heritage Sector can play in the digital transformation. InDICEs is conceived as a project that aims to empower policy- and decision-makers in the Cultural and Creative Industries (CCI) to fully understand the social and economic impact of digitisation. By tracking and establishing policy priorities for digital transformation, the project addresses the need for innovative (re)use of cultural assets.

With the different tools provided by InDICEs (such as an Open observatory platformlegal and policy recommendation, and a MOOC), policy-makers will have a solid framework to assess the impact of cultural heritage. For their own part, Cultural Heritage Institutions will be able to make strategic decisions that will allow them to increase their positive contributions to the CCI and society.

During this lunch meeting, the presentation will be focused on the project’s research methodology, policy recommendations, the Open observatory platform, and the MOOC created by the project partners.

With Claudio Prandoni from AEDEKA, Maja Drabczyk from Centrum Cyfrowe, Fred Truyen and Sophie Taes from KU Leuven University, Corinne Szteinsznaider from Michael Culture Association (CAE Board member).

Open for CAE members only.
