Culture Action Europe participated in “Sinopale Forum: Culture and Creativity for Local Development” held in Turkey. Cristina da Milano, on behalf of CAE, took part in the panel discussion on how the concept of creative city can be applied to a bottom-up local sustainable development strategies and which economies can be born out of these. Sinopale Forum is a participative communication platform gathering the actors of the city (public, private and civil society) as well as experts in order to share updated information, foster collective thinking and learning from one another and trigger new projects concerning the development of the city. The forum took place in January 2016.
