Campaign Meeting: National and Regional Partnership Plans (NRPPs)

As part of the Ask, Pay, Trust campaign, our next campaign meeting will focus on supporting culture in the National and Regional Partnership Plans (NRPPs). The plans represent a new €865 billion envelope in the next long-term EU budget focused on plans for reforms and investments from EU Member States to respond to national and regional challenges. Every Member State proposes its own plans and, even if negotiations on the next EU long-term budget are still ongoing, it is vital that the we raise our voices at the national level to ensure that culture is meaningfully included and funded in plans across Europe representing almost half of the future 2028 – 2034 EU budget.

This campaign meeting will:

• introduce NRPPs and why it matters in the next long-term EU budget
• recap the state of EU negotiations on NRPPs and what lies ahead
• outline how you can support a stronger presence for culture in the NRPPs
• provide a space for questions and knowledge exchange on NRPPs
