The Creative Europe Desk Culture – Luxembourg and the European Institute of Cultural Routes have the pleasure to invite you to their conferences and panels, to be held on 3rd and 4th December 2018 in Luxembourg.

As the European Year of Cultural Heritage (EYCH) is coming to its end and before the closing ceremony in Vienna on 6th and 7th December, the organizers would like to address the question of sustainable support for cultural heritage in Europe. The Creative Europe programme has been funding numerous Cultural Heritage projects and networks and a special call for the European Year 2018 had been published. Launched by the Council of Europe in 1987, the Cultural Routes demonstrate, by means of a journey through space and time, how the heritage of the different countries and cultures of Europe contributes to a shared and living cultural heritage in Europe.

To highlight the potential European networking and funding as well as the legacy of the European Year of Cultural Heritage, the Creative Europe Desk Culture – Luxembourg and the European Institute of Cultural Routes, together with representatives of the European Commission, the Council of Europe and Europa Nostra, will try to investigate three major topics during the panels:

  • Sustainable investment: funding Cultural Heritage in Europe’s regions
  • Anticipating needs and issues: towards a sustainable management of Cultural Heritage projects
  • How to combine efforts for sustainable support: fostering European synergies

Conference in English and French with simultaneaous interpretation.
