Conference: Learning to Care: Education and Training in Culture and Health
The ‘Learning to Care: Education and Training in Culture and Health’ conference is co-created by the CARE and WITAC projects, representing one of the first collaborative educational programs in arts & health across the Baltic States. The conference is co-produced by the Northern Dimension Partnership on Culture and the Latvian Academy of Culture in the framework of the projects CARE: Culture for Mental Health and WITAC. Co-funded by the EU.
This conference is part of a series of events representing public, festival-like conferences organised in different European cities. Each with a different title and theme, every CARE Mobile Hub is free to attend, and brings together artists, healthcare professionals, policymakers, social actors, businesses, educators and local communities to explore how arts and culture can strengthen mental health and well-being. Through exhibitions of relevant artworks, cross-sector dialogues and awareness-raising activities, the Mobile Hub creates an open space for exchange, networking and advocacy at local, national and European levels.
