Kathréptis is promoted and organised by Culture Action Europe, in collaboration with Agenda 21 for Culture (the cultural committee of the United Cities Local Governments, that brings together local governments from all over the world) and the British Council, Greece.

Culture Action Europe is a membership non-profit and civil society network based in Brussels that gives voice to 80,000+ cultural organisations, institutions and practitioners in Europe.
Culture Action Europe is funded by its members and also receives a grant form the Creative Europe programme of the European Union to co-fund the implementation of a 3-year network programme called “Act for Culture”.

Agenda 21 for Culture is the Committee on culture of the world association of United Cities and Local Governments (UCLG), the global platform of cities, organisations and networks to learn, to cooperate and to launch policies and programmes on the role of culture in sustainable development. The mission of the Committee on culture of UCLG is “to promote culture as the fourth pillar of sustainable development through the international dissemination and the local implementation of Agenda 21 for culture”.

The British Council is the UK’s International organisation for cultural relations and educational opportunities. We are on the ground in six contineents and over 100 countries bringing international opportunity to life evey day. We connect millions of people with the United Kingdom through programmes and services in the English language, the Arts, Education and Society. We believe these are the most effective means of engaging with others, and we have been doing this work since 1934.
