Cecilia Balestra

Cecilia Balestra started her close collaboration with Milano Musica-Association for contemporary music in 2008 and was appointed Director in 2012. She is also a member of the Board of ItaliaFestival and the Italian representative for Music Fund. Balestra was been actively engaged in the arts management field since 1996, working within major institutions such as Società del Quartetto di Milano, the Milano City Cultural Department and the Tempo Reale Centre-Florence, where she was the General Manager. Between 2005 and 2007, as a music consultant for Rai Trade, she promoted Rai’s full catalogue abroad. She holds teaching positions at the Scuola d’Arte Drammatica « Paolo Grassi » and at the University of Milano.
