CAE working group on working conditions in the CCSs

For years, the topic of working conditions in the cultural and creative sectors has been a key priority for our network through analysis, campaigns and policy recommendations.

With the European Parliament about to draft a report on the “Framework for the social and professional situation of artists and workers in the cultural and creative sectors,” something we have been calling for in the past three years, we are now reviving the (online) activities of our dedicated Working Group. Open to members of Culture Action Europe, the Working Group will assess the ongoing discussion at the European level and proactively propose concrete recommendations on the way forward.

In the months to come, and taking into consideration the preliminary calendar of the EU Institutions, we foresee four meetings, detailed as follows:

Thursday 25 May, 10am-12.30pm CEST
Tuesday 20 June, 12pm-1.30pm CEST (following CAE’s Annual General Assembly)
Friday 7 July, 1pm-2.30pm CEST
Friday 8 September, 11am-1pm CEST

Please note that by committing to being part of the Working Group, you are expected to attend and contribute to all meetings. The names and affiliations of the members will be published on our website. Later additions will be possible by contacting us at policy@cultureactioneurope.org
