Active in audience development? Take Part!
This is a Call to Action to participate in the “Study on audience development – How to place audiences at the centre of cultural organisations”.
We are launching an open invitation to collect and investigate a number of European practices in order to explore and point out the key success factors and the main organisational impacts of AD strategies on cultural organisations.
We are looking for cultural organisations and/or activities that reflect and meet the following criteria:
- Be a small and medium-sized European organisation (no more than 50 employees);
- Have a department/ staff specifically committed to AD;
- Have clear objectives and goals related to AD and who monitor results (as well as unexpected failures) through an evidence based approach.

The “Study on audience development – How to place audiences at the centre of cultural organisations” aims at providing successful approaches and methods in the area of audience development (AD) to be disseminated among European cultural organisations. Promoted by the European Commission in the framework of the Creative Europe programme, the study is developed by Fondazione Fitzcarraldo, together with Culture Action Europe, ECCOM and Intercult.
