Internships at Culture Action Europe
Culture Action Europe is continually looking for individuals eager to learn at the intersection of politics, policy, culture and community building. Internships can either focus on 1) Politics and Policies or 2) Communication and Community Development. Support to day-to-day operations of an international network operating in the field of culture and beyond is an integral part of both internship profiles.
Politics and Policy interns should be interested in research activities, content creating and distribution. Applicants are expected to be able to process and analyse large quantities of information in the field of cultural policies, condense information into policy outlines and be fully proficient in English.
Communication, operations and Community Development interns are required to hold strong graphic skills and HTML abilities, and to be able to contribute to the production and dissemination of content and information in elements that allow the story of this community to be told. High organisational skills, the capacity to set priorities and to manage complex and interconnected tasks are a must.
Practicalities – Culture Action Europe can host two trainees a year with the duration of six months. Deadlines to apply are as follows:
September – February period: apply before 15 August,
March – August period: apply before 15 February.
Priotrity will be given to students wishing to combine academic research in the course of their studies and the internship and to students coming with an Erasmus+ grant or equivalent. A modest financial contribution towards costs linked to the execution of the internship could be provided, but the ability to source additional funding is an advantage.
